Licence
The CarCaptcha widget is released under the MIT licence. You may use, modify and redistribute it, including commercially, with the licence notice retained. It is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind.
Hosted verification
The dashboard and verification API are offered on a fair-use basis. Keys are bound to domains you have proven you control with a DNS TXT record; using keys on other domains is not permitted and requests from unverified domains are rejected.
Your responsibilities
Keep your secret key server-side. You are responsible for the content of the sites you register and for complying with applicable law, including accessibility requirements — always offer an alternative route for users who cannot complete a visual puzzle.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to facilitate abuse, to attempt to bypass other sites' captchas, or to overload the verification API with automated traffic beyond normal application use.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the project evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
